Frequently asked questions

How do I start a new puzzle?

Tap the difficulty capsule in the upper-right corner, then choose Easy, Medium, or Hard.

What do Notes do?

Turn on Notes before tapping a number to add or remove a small candidate without committing an answer.

Does the sum need to be 45?

Every completed row, column, and 3×3 box sums to 45 because it contains 1–9 once each. The no-repeat rule is what makes the puzzle valid.

Where is my game stored?

Only on your device. Velune Sudoku has no Evisoft account, advertising, analytics, or tracking.

How does Game Center score sharing work?

If you are signed in to Game Center, the app asks before sharing your first completion time. Choosing Don't Share prevents that time and future times from being submitted.
